It is not about making safe art, but making art safely. No longer is it true that being safe and conscientious in the studio is at odds with making great work. Forget “die for your art,” live for your art! And this is the place start: to grow, to learn, to develop better ways to make your art, to get safe in the studio so you can make the art you want to make instead of having toxic materials or bad process dictate your options, your future.

The goal we meet everyday is to have a forum in which professionals, teachers and students will experience a highly creative environment where personal and environmental health is of equal importance to the artistic endeavor at hand.

New partnership with
Santa Fe Art Institute

Begining this summer, 2008, MAS will be offering select workshops in partnership with and at the Santa Fe Art Institue. This special organization and location will give printmaking artist a wonderful opportunity. Four workshops this year are noted in the calendar with SFAI.
